Usually, at this time of year, we host our Community Open Day event to help community members learn about the services we offer and how you can get involved in your community. This year, through the magic of the internet and the necessity driven by the pandemic, we bring you the Community Life Virtual Expo!
The Community Life Virtual Expo has more than a dozen exciting and informative events to attend virtually, including a community showcase and panel discussions.
Community Life Virtual Expo Showcase
Sunday, October 18 – 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Pre-registration is recommended.
Join us online and visit our booths; learn more about our services, projects and programs; share your questions on the Q&A wall, and enter competitions to win fun prizes! Here you will also have a chance to make suggestions, share your ideas with the community and meet/talk to the teams in Community Life.
Visit the various booths at the Community Life Virtual Expo Showcase to win prizes: gift baskets, Tamimi gift vouchers, and much more.
Pre-registration is recommended. If you register by Friday, October 16, you will be entered in the prize draw to win a goodie basket.
Panel Discussions
Monday, October 19 – Wednesday, October 21. Pre-registration is not required.
- Monday, October 19: Developing the Future Together – Join us for a series of panel discussions focused on developing our community and building a better and stronger community for the future. Learn how to get involved and participate in community projects and clubs. Learn more and attend.
- Tuesday, October 20: Health and Education – Join us to learn more about our health and wellbeing plans and initiatives, and the childcare and education infrastructure available for your family. Learn more and attend.
- Wednesday October 21: Community Services – Join us to learn more about our community services, including recreation and leisure, housing and accommodation, retail services, transportation, and travel. Learn more and attend.
Virtual Expo Hub
Visit the Virtual Expo Hub daily starting on October 18 to see the full program for the Expo, visit the Q&A wall, share your ideas for community improvement projects, and enter the competitions to win fun prizes.

Share your feedback and ideas or ask a question at the Feedback/Ideas Stand in the Lobby area of the Virtual Expo Showcase on Sunday. Alternatively, send your suggestions, ideas or questions to
getengaged@kaust.edu.sa. Ideas and Q&A will be shared in the Community Life Virtual Expo Hub.
