Yoga and mindfulness is a traditional holistic approach to create balance of mental and physical wellbeing. It’s one of the most time tested tools which can help people to achieve holistic health. There are currently 110 KAUST community members who practice yoga and mindfulness under Garage Yoga.
We are a group of certified and registered yoga teachers who leads the daily yoga and meditation sessions for community members. We deliver a variety of yoga classes, workshops, events and sound healing sessions. We also host special social events for Garage Yoga community known as “Soulful Saturday” where people come together and connect through their yoga practice and food.
Our goal for this club is to share the benefits of yoga including positive physical and mental health and mindfulness to the KAUST community. The goal of this club is also to create a safe and supported environment for attendees to practice yoga and mindfulness techniques with trained and certified instructors.
The Garage yoga and mindfulness club offers daily multiple yoga and mindfulness group and semi-private classes. We also run programmes for KAUST university departments. We host workshops and educational events which educate community members about yoga philosophy and its anatomical aspects.
