Join us for a series of panel discussions covering topics that impact your life in the community, including health, education, recreation, accommodation, shops and restaurants. Learn how to get involved in building a stronger community for the future.

Community Life at KAUST – an overview

11:00 A.M - 12 noon
To support making life in the community as enriching and inviting as possible, Community Life brings together the key services and teams make KAUST a vibrant live-work-play environment. Chris Sealey (Vice President, Community Life), Nabeel Masoudi from Community Services team, Nicki Talbot from the Community Development team, and Claire Sale from the Communication team will provide an overview of things on offer in the Division and an opportunity for Q&A. 

Community Clubs and Groups

12:30 P.M. – 1:30 P.M.
An opportunity to hear from some of our Community Club leaders and learn more about the range of clubs and groups available today, the benefits of joining and how you can get involved or set up your own.

Getting Involved in Building the Community

2:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M.
Join the Community Development team to learn more about the concepts of community development, community capacity building and building a strong, sustainable community, including why it is important that every member of our community gets involved in building our community for the future.

Community Projects

3:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M
Join Nicki Talbot, Manager, Community Development, to learn about current community projects and have your say about community improvement projects that you feel would make a positive impact on our community.
