Enjoy the spirit of Ramadan every night at KAUST!

As the month of Ramadan is expected to take place from around April 13 to May 12, Community Life would like to wish you Ramadan kareem and invite you to join the festivities at several spaces we've set up for Ramadan.

Ramadan Spaces

The Ramadan Lounge at the Al Marsa Amphitheater will be set up with comfortable Arabic seating and decorations every night during Ramadan. On Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays traditional carts offering BBQ dishes, snacks, and drinks, for example balelah, legemat, fries, toot, and gamaar al deen, as well as cotton candy, popcorn, ice cream, and more will be available at the Ramadan Lounge.

The Souk Walk and Discovery Square will also have Ramadan decorations along with coffee and date stations.

What else is going on during Ramadan?

• A variety of special Iftar promotions are available from KAUST restaurants, and many facilities also have adjusted hours during the holy month. Learn more.
• Ramadan Bazaar stalls will be set up in the new Pop-up Souk with external vendors selling abayas, traditional clothing, household items, spices, handicrafts, and more. Learn more.
