Eid Mubarak! Eid al-Fitr is expected to commence on Friday, April 21. Please take a moment to review the following updates regarding activities and services which have been adjusted over the Eid holiday period. 

Eid operating hours  
During Eid, some Community Life facilities and services operate on a slightly amended schedule, including KAUST Health, off-campus buses, restaurants, retail outlets, and more. These changes are outlined below.  

Food and retail hours 

All food and retail outlets along the University Spine will be closed during Eid, except the Campus Diner. Other food and retail outlets in the community may have adjusted operating hours for Eid, and some are subject to change throughout Eid. The food and retail webpages will be updated with these adjustments before Eid break and we encourage you to check back often.  

KAUST Health  

As always, 911 emergency response and the Emergency Department operate 24/7 throughout Eid. The clinic is closed from April 20 to 24. Normal opening hours resume Tuesday, April 25.
 

Transportation   

There will be no work haul bus and Jeddah medical buses during Eid. The Bus Services page will have updated schedule before the Eid holiday. 
 

Mailroom Services 

All mail services will be closed on Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22. The last outbound shipment will be accepted on Tuesday, April 18.
