As part of our commitment to the continual improvement of Community Life services and facilities, the Harbor Library has recently undergone extensive refurbishment.

Previously shared Harbor Library announcement allowed our community members to enjoy enhancements in the kids’ zone, new books, classes for toddlers, and access to the balcony, read more here. Below you can learn all about our recent upgrades.

Seating space

The newly refurbished and reorganized facility gives a sense of comfort plus an improved layout with additional spaces to study, work, or meet. The orange, blue, and gray color accents help to create positive energy and the study lounges are now fitted with individual lights. See photos here. 

New books

The Harbor Library is continuously enhancing the selection of available books. We have a wide range of specially selected books covering a variety of topics, audiences, languages, and more. New books are purchased several times per year, with the aim of enriching your experiences and keeping up with trends.

Classes and programs

Engaging classes for toddlers, including Clay Fun Time and Cut and Paste are offered every other Saturday. For the updated activity schedule, go to Get Active Calendar, choose timeline, then filter “Harbor Library”.  The calendar can also be found on the Community Life website and the KAUSTCentral App.

The Harbor Library also provides space for Community Clubs and initiatives to meet. Contact the email below for information about available spaces for your group.

Donated book exchange - take a book/donate a book

The ground floor of the Harbor Library has also been upgraded with new tables, chairs, and shelves for our popular donated book exchange. Here, you can share a book or take a book on the dedicated book exchange shelves.
