Located behind Discovery Square with a scenic view of the Red Sea, the Harbor Library is a place of learning that can enrich your knowledge with information from our physical library or our virtual e-resource library. Residents can engage
in many of our programs that showcase the world's different cultures and experiences for all ages and cultures.
The Harbor Library is open to the KAUST community, , approved service providers and graduates.
The primary purpose of the Harbor library is to provide resources and services in a variety of media to meet the needs of individuals and groups for education, information and personal development including recreation and leisure. It has
an important role in the development and maintenance of a democratic society by giving the individual access to a wide and varied range of knowledge, ideas and opinions.
The Library is a collection of sources of information and similar resources, made accessible to a defined community for reference or borrowing. It provides physical or digital access to material.
The Harbor Library is operating a click and collect service for borrowing books and DVDs, daily from 1:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
Search the library: Search the library through the online catalogue at https://opac.kaust.edu.sa. Make sure to filter your search by "Harbor Library". Borrow books: To arrange for a collection, email your selected list of items and requested time of collection to harbor.library@coastline-fm.com, at least 24 hours in advance.
A choice of kids activities are held at the Harbor Library so that everyone can be rewarded with unforgettable experiences while bonding with the little ones, socialising, staying active and being creative. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (i.e., parent, helper, guardian) at all times. Pre-booking is required.
