Music for the community, by the community  

After a successful first launch in September 2023, the Music Club will be hosting another Song Writing Workshop on May 24 and 25. This will include a weekend of guided song-writing exercises and possibly also a night of performances later. Ideally, you can bring some of your lyrics, a chord progression or melody that you want to work on. You can attend on your own or as part of a group.

Note:  

• This workshop is open to all KAUST adult members with at least basic musical skills (able to play an instrument or sing).  

• Please register by Monday, May 20 to receive information about start times and location. 

• The attendance fee is 50 SAR, please bring it to the workshop in cash.  

• Music Club members that paid the yearly membership donation receive a discount of 40%, reducing the attendance fee to 30 SAR. Your contribution will go towards the snacks and drinks, but also towards maintaining our club instruments.
