Are you wondering about the best way to handle used cooking oil?

If so, you are invited to request a used cooking oil container and join us in the recycling of used cooking oil.

Improperly disposing of used cooking oil, by pouring it down drains and sinks, can lead to plumbing and environmental problems. Recycling the used oil ensures that it is not wasted, avoids harming the environment, and supports the circular economy.

KAUST Facilities Management now offers a used cooking oil recycling service for KAUST residents. You can request a dedicated container by contacting the FM call center at (0)12 808 0959. Our used cooking oil recycling service will ensure that used cooking oil is processed responsibly and not wasted.

Residents can choose to have the container collected, or to drop the container off at the waste transfer station in KAUST if they prefer.

Even our retails establishments at KAUST are actively participating in this program.

Facilities Management’s Waste Management Service collaborates with local recycling partners to repurpose used cooking oil, converting it into valuable products, such as biodiesel.
