Win an original Alebrijes created by Mexican artist Angélico Jiménez Carrillo

After a wonderful visit to KAUST by Hugo Cruz Jiménez, a talented artist and ex-postdoctoral fellow, and his friend artist Angélico Jiménez Carrillo, many community members had the opportunity to learn about and create Alebrijes, Tonas, and Nahuales, traditional Mexican artworks

Participate in this quiz for a chance to win a beautiful, handcrafted piece worth 5000 SAR. This piece took five months of work, from the carving to the final stroke, and is made of Copal tree and decorated with acrylic paints. It was created in San Antonio Arrazola, located in the state of Oaxaca in southern Mexico, and features intermediate resolution.  

Note: The winner will be chosen at random. deadline for the quiz is Thursday, February 22, 2024. The winner will be announced at the Parade of Nations, February 29, 2024.
