Do you have a skill or talent that you want to teach the community? Community Life's Community Development Workshop is the perfect platform for you!
The Community Development Workshop's main goal is to provide a space for community members to share their skills or interests through a workshop format. Our motto is "We learn by doing".
To ensure that the workshops remain accessible to everyone and are not focused on making a profit, only a small fee that covers the materials needed and any out-of-pocket expenses will be allowed.
We aim to empower the community to become self-sufficient, and to that end, Community Life will provide the following support:
A space for the workshop under the management of the Community Development team, which includes the ECC3 and the community hub.
Communication support.
Any other support within our means to ensure your workshop runs smoothly.
The activity and workshop will be assessed by the Community Development team before approval based on aim, purpose, risk, and community uptake.
The workshop should be offered for a maximum of 6 weeks and held once or twice weekly.
A maximum of 300 SAR may be charged to participants for the entire course.
Health and Safety and Community Life will assess the risk of the activity.
