Community Development Workshops

03 October, 2023

Do you have a skill or talent that you want to teach the community? Community Life's Community Development Workshop is the perfect platform for you!

The Community Development Workshop's main goal is to provide a space for community members to share their skills or interests through a workshop format. Our motto is "We learn by doing".

To ensure that the workshops remain accessible to everyone and are not focused on making a profit, only a small fee that covers the materials needed and any out-of-pocket expenses will be allowed.

We aim to empower the community to become self-sufficient, and to that end, Community Life will provide the following support:

  • A space for the workshop under the management of the Community Development team, which includes the ECC3 and the community hub.

  • Communication support.

  • Any other support within our means to ensure your workshop runs smoothly.

Guidelines:

  1. The activity and workshop will be assessed by the Community Development team before approval based on aim, purpose, risk, and community uptake.

  1. The workshop should be offered for a maximum of 6 weeks and held once or twice weekly.

  1. A maximum of 300 SAR may be charged to participants for the entire course.

  1. Health and Safety and Community Life will assess the risk of the activity.
