Community Life hosted an appreciation dinner on  May 10 for community club leaders and Welcome to KAUST Program ‘Buddies’ to recognize their active contribution to the KAUST community. The evening was an opportunity for us to acknowledge and share our appreciation to the dedicated community members who have actively volunteered and supported Community Development programs & clubs.   

Welcome to KAUST Program   

The Welcome to KAUST Program helps new community members settle into life at KAUST quickly and is supported by community members who help the new arrivals by becoming their “Buddies”. Their contribution strengthens the program and helps newcomers become active community members upon arrival.

Community Clubs   

Community Clubs are initiated and driven by a group of community members who come together to share their passion, interest or hobby with the willingness to expand it to the rest of the community. 

Thanks to the Boardgaming, Art, Women’s Taekwondo, and Ministry of DJs clubs for hosting special workshops at the Teenspace in the last few months.
