The weekend of March 9, 10, and 11 was absolutely electric at KAUST! The Harbor Sports Club Field was buzzing with football players eager to win the fourth annual tournament and bring the trophy home.

More than 17 teams participated, consisting of Kaustians and service providers from different KAUST departments. The energy was palpable throughout the whole tournament and the excitement infectious as each team brought its unique strategy to the field.

The Champs

The tournament ended with MACC Small Giants seizing victory, while Facilities Management and CCRC teams came in the second and third places respectively. In addition to the gold, silver, and bronze medals given out to the winning teams, trophies were offered to individuals who displayed a stellar performance during the games.

The Top Goalkeeper trophy went to Mahmoud Sabbagh from MACC, while the Top Goal Scorer went to Fathi Ibrahim from KAUST IT with 10 goals throughout the tournament, and Player of the Tournament trophy went to Abdulrahman Alharbi from MACC.

Congratulations to the winners for their hard-earned triumph! Thank you to the sponsors, MACC, Coastline, Sabic, and Aramco for helping make this tournament such a memorable event! And to all the teams that participated or have their eyes set on participating next year, we can’t wait to see what you will bring to the field in the fifth annual tournament!
