Heading to KAEC for the weekend? Hop aboard one of our luxurious boats for a scenic cruise down the Red Sea. Community Life is proud to announce the soft launch of a new Water Taxi Service connecting KAUST and KAEC.  

During this soft launch phase, trips are FREE of cost.

The location to board from KAUST is the King Abdullah Monument (KAM) and at KAEC is the Bay La Sun Marina.

Special Trips during Saudi Founding Day Weekend

Additional trips will be organized during special event periods of both KAUST and KAEC such as this weekend. Trips are available daily from February 21 to February 25.

• Departure from KAUST - 11:00 a.m. | Departure from KAEC – 1:30 p.m.
• Departure from KAUST - 3:00 p.m. | Departure from KAEC – 5:30 p.m.

Booking closes one hour before departure.

Spots are limited and booking is on a first-come-first-served basis.

Fostering In-Kingdom Partnerships

This water taxi service can also be used by partners in KAEC to visit KAUST once they register through the new independent visitor system. We hope that this service will help forge greater collaboration between our neighboring communities.
