14 December, 2022
On Friday, December 9, Bike Week 2022 culminated with the traditional end of week event that brought our whole community together.
More than 110 cyclists were up and ready with the break of dawn to hit the road and be the first to cross that finish line. The racers competed in 3 different categories – Elite, Sport, and Junior – depending on age and distance.
All participants demonstrated peak performance and received wonderful support from their friends and families who joined as spectators. At the end, it was a hard-fought victory for our winners below:

About Bike Week 2022
From December 4-9, we 'Biked for Climate', keeping in mind the extreme climate impact events affecting the world.
Road transportation, such as cars, motorcycles, and buses, accounts for 11.9% of global greenhouse gases emissions (Source: ourworldindata.org). Biking is a greener mode of transportation which is fun and keeps you healthy.
Community Life, Red Sea Cyclists club, Health, Safety and Environment and Office of Sustainability teamed up for this year’s Bike Week to inspire everyone to pedal their way to healthy living and safer transportation!
A huge thank you to each and every one who played a role in this success!
