On November 17, the first Community Life Music Festival took place at King Abdullah Monument Park with over 2500 community members and friends in attendance. It was the largest music event hosted at KAUST.
The event featured 190 TKS children and 63 musicians who performed 12 musical acts. They included:
TKS Elementary and Secondary school bands
5 external bands
4 community bands
Ministry of DJs
The event showcased various musical genres like Arabic, electronic rhythms, gypsy jazz, and more.
The highlights of the event were a special appearance by Ahmad AQ who joined us from Bahrain and a surprise appearance by Moe Zein, a popular singer from Lebanon. He debuted his new single to a very enthusiastic crowd.
Event photos are now available on the Community Life Flickr page.
Feel free to download and share them. Don’t miss out on watching the event video. Check out #KAUSTLife for more pictures and videos from the event on Instagram.
