The WISE Summer Program 2022 started on July 24 and ended on August 18 with an Expo and Closing Ceremony event in the Campus Library.

The Expo was held in the morning and afternoon while the Closing Ceremony, an event in which the President and Provost handed the interns their WISE Certificate, was held at lunchtime with the presence of all mentors who contributed to the program.

The 104 interns were able to display the work they have done throughout their four-week internship at the Expo, where mentors, parents, friends, and other guests came to go through the tables and see their exhibition.

Throughout the Expo we saw the enthusiasm and professionalism of these young people, who were proud to have participated in such a valued program that enhances not only their work experience but also their CV’s.

“She has an excellent attitude when it comes to work. She is very polite and approachable. She is always attentive to the instructions provided and applies it to work accordingly. She is always showing enthusiasm at work and has no complaints finishing her 8-hour shift.”

“He is a very independent person, who can learn things by himself and is very passionate about what he is doing/learning.”

“Surprised by the maturity she has at this age! She exceeded the whole department expectations.”

“He is smart, respectful, hard worker, takes feedback well and knows the value of learning.”

“My intern contributed to our research work. He demonstrated proactiveness in completing my request.”

“A strong work ethic translated into outstanding productivity doing more than the minimum requirements and actively participating in the 2022 student orientation exercise. She spread her cooperative outlook to other team members by taking part willingly in projects and showing good teamwork, readily assisting others when needed.”
