The KAUST Triathlon event held on Friday, December 10, showcased our community's passion for sports and friendly competition. Around 125 participants aged 14 and up tested their strength in the following categories:

1. Olympic Distance: 1500-meter swim, 40 km cycling & 10 km running
2. Sprint Distance: 400-meter swim, 20 km cycling & 5 km running
   

A big shout out and thank you to all participants and warmly cheering spectators for playing a significant role in making this event special, fun, and successful.

Winners

Congratulations to all the Triathlon 2021 winners, in each category:

• Olympic Men's Winner: Thibault Guiberti with the lead time of 2:19:10
  
• Olympic Women's Winner: Elisa Grassi with the lead time of 2:33:10
• Sprint Men's Winner: Francois de Ryckel with the lead time of 1:10:29
• Sprint Women's Winner: Masaha Delyi with the lead time of 1:17:04
• Team Winner, TRIHARDS: Rodrigo Villalobos Vazquez De La Parra, Kelly Maclarn, and Michael Maclarn with the lead time of 1:03:29
