Breast cancer is the most common cancer found in women worldwide. During the month of October, organizations around the globe unite for a common cause, breast cancer awareness.
Free screenings for qualifying community members
To support early detection, KAUST Health is providing free screenings to eligible community members this October.
KAUST Health recommends that all women aged forty and over to have a breast cancer screening every one to two years. To support this effort, KAUST Health is waiving the 26 SAR administration fee for KAUST-insured women aged forty and over during the month of October.
Those who do not qualify for free screenings are still welcome to participate in the screening program, but copayments and consultation fees may apply, based on your insurance plan.
To encourage women to get screened, one lucky community member who participates in this campaign will win an iPhone. The winner will be contacted the first week of November.
