Teacher: Jonathan Wagstaff is a KAUST Electrical Engineering student with experience as an artist and volunteer art teacher, specializing in watercolor painting. His previous projects include painting workshops, a stage set, and a community library mural. He loves involving absolute beginners and more experienced artists. He is a firm believer that anyone can learn to paint.
Location: Art studio in the Island Recreation Club (IRC).
Cost: The cost for each class is 50 SAR, plus approximately 150 SAR for all materials, so you will pay up to 450 SAR on the first day for the 6-week Workshop. (If you know you cannot attend all 6 classes, then you will pay for what you know you can attend on the first class, but after that, there is no reimbursement for missed classes).
Materials: All materials, including paper, watercolor paints, a mixing palette and brushes can be bought from the Art Club on the first day. (If you already have your own materials please bring them.)
Sign Up: Please email crnewns@gmail.com to reserve a place in the workshop. There is a maximum of 20 people. Adults only (senior TKS school students by special arrangement – please email requests).
You don’t want to miss this amazing opportunity for artists of all levels!
