​Do you want to get to know your neighbors better?  Would you like to represent your neighborhood in community matters? Do you want to ensure that everyone in your neighborhood receives information that they should know about? 

 The Community Development team is looking for community members who are keen to get more involved in ensuring their local neighborhood is informed and involved in matters that impact them. We aim to create a network of voluntary Community Representatives covering all the streets/neighborhoods in the KAUST community.

The Role of the Community Representative

• Reach out to the households in your 'patch' to introduce yourself
  
• Be part of a Community Representatives WhatsApp group to cascade messages to your households
• Represent your households at a monthly community meeting and provide feedback to them.
• Work with other Community Representatives to organize local get-togethers, such as street parties, neighborhood BBQs, etc.
• Bring your local knowledge into community discussions
  
  

What will Community Development do to help?

• Support you to work with your community area by providing information, guidance, and practical assistance.
• Provide the framework for you to get to know, talk and learn from the other Community Representatives.
