As part of the Community Recitals concert series, the KAUST Tarab Band will be performing a recital at the Discovery Square Theatre on Thursday, March 7, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.
Inspired by traditional oriental music from the Arabian Gulf, all the way to the Atlantic Ocean at the West African Sahara, the KAUST Tarab Band brings us a unique set of melodies and rhythms that reintroduce the beautiful era of Middle Eastern music with modern twists.
The KAUST Tarab Band is a group of community members of different nationalities, from Lebanon to Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Germany, who have been brought together by their passion for the golden age of Arabic music.
