Harbor Sports Field

Football champs, the fields are calling, and it’s time to answer! Brace yourselves for the Annual KAUST Interdepartmental Football Tournament set to ignite the Harbor Sports Field on March 1 and 2. The tournament is open to all KAUST Football teams, with a capacity for 16 teams from KAUST who will compete to bring the trophy home.

Registration

• You can register a team for your department by filling out the Football Tournament Registration form.
• Teams must consist of a minimum of 11 to a maximum of 15 players.
• Each team can have up to 4 service providers from their respective department.
• The registration fee is 1,875 SAR (500 USD) per team. Payment can be made at the Island Recreation Club, the Harbor Sports Club, or the Racquet Club reception desks via card or in cash.
• Each team will receive uniforms for all team players at no additional cost.

Captains’ Meeting

Team captains will meet at the IRC Canopy Area on Tuesday, February 27, at 7:30 p.m., where team kits will be collected, and a live draw will take place. Captains will receive a detailed email after the meeting with information on all group game fixtures and their respective times.

Prizes

In addition to the Championship trophy, every player on the winning team will receive a gold winners medal. Silver and bronze medals will also be awarded to players whose teams come in the second and third places respectively.

That’s not just it! Make sure you give it your best and you may end up winning our Player of the Tournament, Top Goal Scorer, or Top Goalkeeper trophies.

Entertainment

You might not be playing on the field, but you can still tap into your inner football champion during the tournament weekend. Pop up with your kids at the Harbor Field to share a bite, enjoy the inflatables, and have a blast.
