Community Life invites everyone to join us at the Community Open Day, an evening for the community, by the community and a celebration of the active and talented people who call KAUST home.

Community Open Day is an excellent opportunity for all KAUST residents to learn about what the community has to offer, whether you are newly arrived or have been living here for many years.  

Learn about the Different KAUST Departments and Services 

Meet representatives from different KAUST departments and services such as Community Development and Partnerships Team, Retail, Recreation, Facilities Management, Fire Department, Childcare, Logistics, KAUST Health and more. There will be interactive activities, giveaways and discount vouchers at these tables, featuring: 

• Outdoor Spinning and Body Combat classes by the Recreation team. 
• Fire simulator to demonstrate Fire Extinguisher use by the Fire Department.  
• A special Kids Zone called “Building Blocks Storyland” by the Childcare team. 
• KAUST Health will bring their famous BMI machine for a free fitness check.  
• Food samples from the KAUST Hotel, and other restaurants at KAUST.  
• Special discount by Matjar, as part of their 1-year celebration.

Enjoy Live Entertainment 

Experience a mesmerizing night of live entertainment by the community for the community. There will be a music and light show by the Ministry of DJs Club, live performances by the Music Club and dance showcases by the Movement Club.  

Connect with people who have similar interests and hobbies 

The Community Open Day provides an excellent opportunity to engage with the Community Clubs and discover which one aligns with your interests. From Women's Taekwondo to Stitch Club, from Writing Club to Red Sea Cyclists, there is something for everyone to enjoy and connect with. 

Meet your Neighborhood Artisans 

Talented KAUST community artisans will be showcasing their extraordinary artworks, handmade crafts, delicious food, souvenirs, designer clothes, accessories, and more.   

Remember to bring a reusable bag and some cash with you to support your favorite neighborhood artisans and their creations.
