Upcoming kitesurfing events at KAEC within the framework of the “Francophonie Month”

The “Association Franco Saoudienne de Kite” (AFSK) also known as the Saudi French Kite Association  is organizing three kitesurfing and watersport events on two different days within the framework of the “Francophonie Month”, all hosted in KAEC, Yam beach.

Saturday March 11

Paper kite workshop with children (4 to 12 years old)
9:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m.
KAEC, Yam beach
The activity is open to a maximum of 30 participants for 50 SAR.

The workshop teaches kids between 4 and 12 years old and their parents to build a paper kite together.  The children will be provided with everything they need to make a paper kite and color it before flying it on the beach.

 

Kite Discovery Day Adult (12 years +)

2:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m.
KAEC, Yam beach
The activity is open to a maximum of 36 participants for 50 SAR.

This workshop provides participants a theoretical kite surfing lesson prior being able to try a real kite in the water with a certified instructor.

AFSK Open Doors Day (Community Gathering for Confirmed Kiters)

Saturday, March 18 (all day).
KAEC, Yam beach
Registration fee: 50 SAR per person. Includes beach access, parking and lunch.

At the AFSK (Saudi French Kite Association) open doors day, get the chance to meet other kite surfers and learn more about the community and their future events planned. There will also be a kite demonstrations and free ride in an awesome spot for all kiters. Registration is also open for other watersports such as windsurfing and wingfoil.
