Halloween is just around the corner and is a fun time of year for kids (and kids at heart) to get a chance to dress up, decorate, carve pumpkins, and share in some spooky fun! Here are all the fun ways you can get involved:

Pumpkin Sale
Starting October 23, while supplies last
Greens produce shop and Tamimi Supermarket

Medium and large pumpkins are available at the Greens produce shop in the Souk Walk and the main Tamimi supermarket. Only available while supplies last. For more information, contact retail@kaust.edu.sa.

Trick-or-Treat
Monday, October 31
6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
At participating houses

Trick-or-treat is a popular annual community-driven event! On Halloween night, community members come together to facilitate Trick-or-Treating all around the community – join the fun!  

How to participate:

If you plan to participate, we recommend participating in both of the following ways:

• Hand out treats to trick-or-treaters. The children will come to your home and say “trick-or-treat”. You can admire their costumes and give them a treat. To indicate that your house is participating, please:

1. You can either wait outside your house or display Halloween themed decorations on your front door. AND
2. Register to have your house added to the Trick-or-Treat map

• Take your children house-to-house to trick-or-treat. Encourage your children to wear a costume and visit participating houses. The children say “trick-or-treat!” and they will hopefully receive a treat.

Important note about safety:

Please use caution on the roads on the evening of October 31. Both trick-or-treaters and road users need to be extra mindful in the dark.

• Being aware of your kids’ safety, especially when crossing roads
• Adhere to all traffic regulations
• Walking or biking is a great way to visit houses
