Eid Mubarak! Eid al-Fitr is expected to commence on May 2. Please take a moment to review the following updates regarding activities and services which have been adjusted over the Eid holiday period.
During Eid, some Community Life facilities and services operate on a slightly amended schedule, including KAUST Health, off-campus buses, restaurants, retail outlets, and more. These changes are outlined below.
All food and retail outlets along the University Spine will be closed during Eid, except the Campus Diner. The other food and retail outlets in the community may have adjusted operating hours for Eid, and some are subject to change throughout Eid. The food and retail webpages will be updated with these adjustments and we encourage you to check back often.

Steak Seven, Pure, Harbor, and Golf club restaurants are offering 10% off any order during Eid.
Ya Hala offer during Eid
As always, 911 emergency response and the Emergency Department operate 24/7. The clinic is closed from May 1 to May 4. Normal opening hours resume Thursday, May 5. Learn More
There will be no work haul and Jeddah medical buses. Effective May 8, the medical bus will be available. Check the Bus Services page for the schedule.

The 20-minute boat rides will be offered in the KAUST Harbor water on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd day of Eid. Experience the Red Sea from the craft. Two boats: Coastline 1 and Coastline 2 will be available for all age groups. Registration is not required. This activity works on a first-come-first-serve rule.

To allow families to celebrate the Eid break together, Monday, May 2, South Beach will operate as a family day instead of Ladies only day. We invite all the beach users to enjoy the facility from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Create unforgettable beach memories with access to the watersports, inflatables, volleyball area, great music, kiosk, and more.

Life jackets will be provided, however, for hygiene reasons your own t-shirt or rash vest must be worn underneath.
The watersports will be unavailable at South Beach during this time. They will resume as normal on Thursday, May 5. The beach remains open for swimmers and beach users.

Create Eid memories at South Beach with your family and friends. The facility operates on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. There is so much to do: swim in the Red Sea, relax on the lounge in the shade of a cabana, play ball, search for marine life, dig and build in the sand, try watersports like windsurfing, kayaking, pedaling, and more. Sales of kites, sand toys, and appetizing live BBQ will be available from 4:00 P.M.

Ladies are welcome to enjoy South Beach and its activities on Friday morning, from 9:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Children of any gender, aged 10 years old and below can access the beach during the Ladies only days.

We are hosting an exciting Eid Carnival on May 12 from 5:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. at the Amphitheater. The event will include carnival games, food trucks, a laser show, and more.

The Jeddah Season website has opened and some activities are now available to book online. Check back regularly for more information. We are planning some amendments to our Transportation arrangements once there are more details available on the operating hours of the different Jeddah season zones.
