The United Nations (UN) adopted a resolution in 1993 to declare March 22 'World Water Day' to highlight the importance of access to water and sanitation, which are also included in the UN Sustainable Development Goals. World Water Day celebrates water and raises awareness of the global water crisis.

We are marking the day here at KAUST and have planned activities for you to participate in, please follow all Keeping KAUST Safe guidelines including practicing social distancing and wearing face coverings.
There will be 1-hour walking tours of the Golf Course starting at 4:45 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to learn more about the use and management of water. Meet at the Golf Club Reception. Numbers are limited, so arrive promptly to get in the group!

Screening of the documentary "The Story of Water" at the Auditorium between building 4 and 5 from 07:00 P.M. - 08:30 P.M.
