We will be holding our third Sci-Café TKS on February 17 at the GSS Library at 3.15pm. We have had some excellent presentations in 2019, and this time, we are thrilled to have three young scientists that will speak about how their research relates to the theme of ‘Brain Science’:
Monika will talk about how to alter cells outside of the body (tissue culture) as a tool to study the brain.
David aims to develop a new family of implantable organic electrochemical transistor-based sensors for probing brain metabolism.
Arnaud looks at lactate and related molecules and how they impact the brain.
Along with the formal presentation, there will be other activities to engage the school students. We hope that you will talk to your children about this opportunity and encourage them to be a part of this exciting initiative.
