Nesegul Demir, a KAUST resident from Turkey, will teach you how to make beautiful traditional mosaic pictures using broken pieces of coloured ceramic tiles. Nese is a trained and experienced art teacher who specializes in mosaics.

Dates: Wednesday evenings - starting on 13th November from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. There will be 6 classes: 13, 20, 27 Nov; 4, 11, 18 Dec. 

The workshops will take place in the Art Studio in the Island Recreation Club (IRC).

Each class will cost 50 SAR, and in addition there is a 100 SAR fee to cover the cost of ceramic tiles, wooden base, glue, and grout, so you will need to pay 400 SAR on the first class for all 6 classes (If you know you cannot attend all 6 classes, then you will pay for what you know you can attend, but after that there is no reimbursement for missed classes).
 Adults only (secondary school aged children can attend, but only by special arrangement by email).
 Classes are limited to 20 people. Participation will be on a "first come, first served" basis. If the workshop is full you will be put on a waiting list.
 You should wear clothes which are suitable for getting dirty - or bring your own apron.
