The KAUST Children’s Center (KCC), after-school care, hosted an Open Night on June 12. Many current and prospective children, accompanied by their parents, attended the event at ECC3. On display were KCC children’s art and craft work, information about the KCC program and activities and exposure to KCC staff and management.  

The proud parents mingled with new parents at the event, enthusiastic about their children’s work and discussed the programs and events that ran throughout the year. It was the type of engaged and warm environment that KCC aims to foster among the children and the community.   

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, particularly regarding the skills of the coaches, the fun-filled educational activities, the program structure, the well-managed activities, and the effective communication with KCC parents to keep them informed.  

With the expansion to include grade 4 children, the center looks forward to welcoming the existing and new children to KCC at the start of the new school year on August 21.
