  • Date: Wednesday, September 4.
  • Time: 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Join us to celebrate the rich history and dynamic techniques of Taekwondo! Taekwondo is a Korean martial art and combat sport involving punching and kicking techniques. The word Taekwondo can be translated as tae ("strike with foot"), kwon ("strike with hand"), and do ("the art or way"). This sport promotes five tenets: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit.

The evening will feature:

  • An insightful presentation on the history of Taekwondo.
  • A live demonstration of Poomsae, showcasing the art and discipline of patterned movements.
  • Interactive kick trials for everyone to participate and learn basic Taekwondo kicks.

Special Notes:

  • The event is free for all attendees.
  • Suitable for ages 15 and above.
  • Please dress in comfortable workout clothes.
