Campus and Community are pleased to announce that we will soon be offering new shopping and dining options to enhance your experience at KAUST.
Following the last Retail Services Survey‘s where over 600 responses were received providing retail preferences across the community, the Campus and Community Retail team have reviewed and listened to the information received. An action plan was implemented to address these preferences and the initial output was the launch of the successful series of pop-up restaurants.
As a next step, the Retail Team are now looking to introduce a variety of renowned brands to KAUST to enhance and diversify our dining options.
Stay tuned. Over the coming months, we will announce plans for several new dining options and others undergoing renovations or enhancements.

Baytoti and Maki House, will offering a delightful mix of Chinese, Asian, Cantonese, Sichuan and Shanghai cuisines and will be opening soon at Discovery Square. With lots of options, Baytoti and Maki House will be open to serve lunch and dinner at Discovery Square in the building previously occupied by the Great Wall Bistro.
Baytoti and Maki House promises a unique and high quaity dining experience for our community.
Great Wall Bistro will be relocated to a new area at the Harbor Area, next to Saadeddin Pastry.
Campus and Community’s Retail Services team oversees over 35 stores, including cafes, food outlets, and other services at KAUST. Their main objective is to provide the community with a pleasant shopping and dining experience. The team takes pride in going above and beyond to create an atmosphere that the community will love. In addition to regular offerings, they organize exciting pop-up souqs and community bazaars.
