In honor of the United Nations' historical declaration, we would like to invite the KAUST community to participate in this national initiative on Saturday, February 10, which marks the first-ever UN recognized International Day of the Arabian Leopard.
The event will be a celebration of the splendid, yet critically endangered subspecies, and a call to action to address the challenges faced by all Big Cats worldwide.

Distance: 3 or 5k run/walk
Route: The Beach to Beacon route, starting from the Island Recreation Center to the Beacon and back.
This event supports the Sustainable Development Goals; Life on Land (SDG 15), Climate Action (SDG 13), and Sustainable Communities (SDG 11).
