KAUST is making some important changes to its KAUST Health fee structure which will take effect from January 1, 2024.

These changes have been carefully considered to deliver enhanced effectiveness of the allocated resources, ensuring that wastage is reduced, making the most of KAUST’s investment and that improvements can be made to the healthcare services for our community.

• No Show/Late Fees: The fee for No Show/Late Fees will be 200 SAR for missed or late appointments. Please note that these fees will apply to all patients visiting KAUST Health. The decision to adjust these fees was made after a thorough review and analysis of utilization and wastage of resources. On average, around 300 appointments are missed every month at KAUST Health. This change is aimed at promoting a more responsible use of the services available.

• Administration Fees: The charge for Administration Fees will be 35 SAR per visit. This will help contribute to administration costs and ensure the sustainability of our services.

• New Payment Method: In addition to the change in fees, starting from January 1, 2024, both the No Show/Late Fees and the Administration Fees will be collected at the time of your clinic visit. You will have the option to pay using credit/debit cards or cash, and there will be no further deductions directly from your payroll.

  Please note that 2023 Administration and No Show/late fees for July/August will be deducted in December, and September/October will be deducted in January and November/December in February.
