KAUST Health is offering two support group programs that will help you develop and maintain your mental health. Each program is a face to face 6-weeks session (one session per week) and a certificate of attendance is available at the end of each program.
1- Managing Worry support group
Instructor: Salma Almufti
Date: May 1 – June 5
Time: 5:30 – 7 p.m.
Location: Community Life – Conference Room
In this support group, the instructor will raise awareness on how to manage worries by evidence based psychological treatment known as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). It will guide participants through techniques that have been shown to help many people experiencing difficulties with worry and anxiety. The dynamic of the support group will be filled with understanding & compassion to make the experience outstanding for the participants.

2- Ignite Self-worth support group
Instructor: Salma Almufti
Date: May 16 – June 19
Time: 5:30 – 7 p.m.
Location: Community Life – Conference Room
In this support group, the instructor will help participant to have an in-depth of what is holding them back, what type of negative beliefs they carry and will tackle it to replace it with more realistic healthy one.
Raising awareness with gradual steps and guidance will help participants enhance their skills and strengths. The dynamic of the support group will be filled with understanding and compassion to make the experience outstanding for the participants.
