Facilities Management and Edama Organic Solutions have announced a new collaboration aimed at raising awareness about waste management at KAUST. The program includes guided tours of KAUST's Waste Transfer Station and the Composting Facility to provide participants with a better understanding of the waste management processes.
Participants can also access helpful resources about waste management on the Facilities Management website. All members of the KAUST community are welcome to attend the awareness sessions.
In addition to general awareness sessions, Facilities Management acknowledges the essential role played by house helpers in the success of the recycling program. As a result, a specialized training session will be offered that will focus on the basics of waste management, reuse programs, waste segregation techniques, and a tour of the Waste Transfer Station.
The training will be conducted in multiple languages, including English, Arabic, Urdu/Hindi, and Tamil, and attendees will receive a certificate of attendance upon successful completion of the awareness session.
Facilities Management aims to promote sustainable waste management practices and encourage households to adopt appropriate waste segregation methods through this initiative. Attendees should not miss this opportunity to learn more about KAUST's waste management program and contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable environment.
