Travel between KAUST and Thuwal by boat! This amazing new option available once a week for KAUST residents will start on Monday, September 12. Enjoy a quick escape to the Thuwal village and explore its traditional atmosphere and local
offerings. This village is famous for its fish markets, beautiful Corniche with promenade and many more.

We are pleased to inform you that the first three trips, scheduled on September 12, 19, and 26 are free of charge. Free access will be given to the first 45 people who book a seat. Details are provided below on how to register.
Price
- A round trip (KAUST – Thuwal and back) cost 40 SAR per person (VAT incl.)
- The fee charges will begin only on Monday, October 3 (after the trial period)
- One-way trip is not available during the trial period
- No refunds for not showing up
Entry
- Registration is required and works on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Limited spaces available.
- Following the onboard check-in of all passengers, the boat departure is at 5:30 P.M. from KAUST Marina and at 7:30 P.M. from Thuwal Marina (boarding for both departures will start before 15 minutes).
- Registrations close every Sunday at 12:00 P.M.

- Following the registration, you will be invited to the marine guest care office to complete the payment and present the necessary documents. Registration needs to be completed at least 24 hours before departure*.
*Trips may be rescheduled or canceled due to circumstances beyond our control.
