As the weather cools down, it's all heating up for golf in Saudi. Here's some of the latest headlines from Safaa Golf Club.
The Aramco Ladies Golf Tournament was held in KAEC from November 4 to 12, 2021 and KAUST partnered to provide mutual support and benefits. Having the best professional golfers from around the world come and participate in this event brought lots of opportunity to the KAUST community.
Some of our golf club members got the opportunity to play alongside the professionals in the pro-am day where they experienced amazing golf. Even the Safaa Golf Club staff were involved in the marshaling, scoring, and filming of the tournament.
Golf Saudi has been one of the steppingstones for golf development in Saudi Arabia, Safaa Golf Club is following in their footsteps with mass participation in our community, including through different golf clinics and a beginner's program where the people can join and learn the game.
Junior golf is one of the main focuses for Golf Saudi and we can proudly say that we have 57 Junior members and hopefully more to join. With Golf Saudi seeing our efforts towards growing the game of golf in our area, they arranged in this recent event
that two professional golfers demonstrated a world class clinic using our facility for our junior golfers.
Our head golf professional was busy promoting how much the golf club helps in the development of junior golf in Saudi Arabia, filmed by GOLFTV a well-known golfing channel around the world.

Safaa Golf Club also recently renovated the pro shop, the place where beginners and golfers can buy different golfing accessories such as polo shirts, trousers, gloves, equipment and many more.

The upcoming Men's International Golf tournament at KAEC will be held from February 3 to 6, 2022, and KAUST is one of the official sponsors for the tournament. This partnership will provide excellent visibility for KAUST research as well as opportunities for community members to attend programs here at KAUST too.
This is a great opportunity for you to come to the course and learn more about the game so you can experience this upcoming event to the fullest!
The Safaa Golf Club is not just a place for golf but also an environment where the community can come and relax with friends and families. The 10th Hole Restaurant is a community favorite, and the space is also available for private bookings for exclusive events or children's birthday parties.
Regular non-golfing events are being held each month as this wonderful place such as the bird watching, dog walking, mountain biking and more.
The KAUST community are always welcome to experience the diverse activities being done at Safaa Golf Club and we look forward to making your experience memorable.
