​The new Ramadan Lounge on the Harbor Walk is open for all to relax in the evenings during Ramadan. On Thursday, the Ramadan Lounge will offer special themed activities as well as hosting a variety of offerings every Thursday and Friday throughout Ramadan.

Every Evening

Every night during Ramadan the new Ramadan Lounge is open for all to visit and relax in a comfortable setting. Bring an Iftar meal from home, bring or order delivery from the many surrounding eateries, or order from Baitak across the walk.

Thursday Evenings

Every Thursday, from 9:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Community Life will also host a specially themed event such as regional folklore readings and traditional performances of dance and music. The themes are:

• Thursday, May 16: Syrian traditions and folklore
  
• Thursday, May 23: Egyptian traditions and folklore
  
• Thursday, May 30: Saudi traditions and folklore
  

Thursday and Friday Evenings

On Thursdays AND Fridays, you can visit the Ramadan photo booth, purchase freshly baked Arabic bread, and more.  For children, there is a Kids Corner in the lobby of the Harbor Library with a treat shop, bouncy castle, and an activities area with play-doh, sand art, coloring, and face painting stations. Two ponies are also available for rides on Thursdays and Friday evenings.
