English classes are designed as an opportunity for individuals to improve their English. The classes are taught by experienced teachers and the basic curriculum follows the book series "English Unlimited" by Cambridge University Press, plus supplemental materials.  The content focuses on vocabulary, grammar, conversation as well as speaking, listening, writing, reading, and everyday English.

How do registrations and classes work?   

This semester runs for 7 weeks, from November 1 to December 17.  The program is designed to improve your English in many areas and has been a successful part of KAUST for ten years.

All classes will be held on Zoom.

Classes will run on Sundays and Tuesdays or Mondays and Wednesdays, and each class is 90 minutes.  The classes will be held in the mornings (although days and times will depend on the class level and teacher availability).  You will be placed into a Class level – Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, or Upper-Intermediate.

Pricing

The price for this semester is 700 SAR for Saudi Nationals and 805 SAR including VAT for non-Saudis. Payment and registration must be made by Monday, October 26 at Harbor Sports Club Reception.

Each student will receive a new coursebook and a workbook – included in the price.
