​The Art Club is offering six-week mosaic workshops – for adults.

Location

Art Studio in the Island Recreation Club (IRC)

Schedule

• When: Wednesdays, September 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 & October 6
• Time: 7:00 – 9:00 P.M.
  

Cost

The total cost for all 6 classes will be 400 SAR, to be paid in cash on the first class, and includes the cost of ceramic tiles, wooden base, glue, grout, and a wooden frame.

For Who?

Adults only (senior secondary school children can attend, but only by special arrangement by email).
Participants are required to follow the Keeping KAUST Safe guidelines.

Clothes

You should wear clothes which are suitable for getting dirty – or bring your own apron.

Teacher

Nesegul Demir, (called Nessie), a KAUST resident from Turkey, will teach you how to make beautiful traditional mosaic pictures using broken pieces of colored ceramic tiles. Nessie is a trained and experienced art teacher who specializes in mosaics, as well as acrylic and oil painting.
