We are happy to announce that Wayz, a local e-ride rental company, is launching its services in KAUST. In this soft phased launch, it will be providing rental e-bikes and e-scooters at several locations at KAUST.

Wayz is a company that provides eco-friendly, e-ride solutions through easy, safe, and reliable micro-mobility driven by the latest technologies. Using homegrown talent, WAYZ was launched in 2019 to bring communities closer, improve transportation and create new opportunities for entertainment in the region.
Wayz's goals align with Vision 2030's Saudi Green Initiative in reducing carbon emissions by more than 4%. Global transportation accounts for more than 25% of total greenhouse gas emissions contributing to global warming. Resorting to green mobility is one way to help reduce carbon emissions and thus ensure a sustainable environment.

The Wayz rental service costs 0.67 SAR per minute. The app accepts MADA, VISA, Apple Pay, STC PAY, American Express and Master Card payments.
