The Community Development team work with community members to improve community facilities, enhance existing programs, and start new activities. Current projects include:
We have been allocated a piece of land in the Island residential area that we can develop into a permanent dog park. We are looking for community members to get involved to help us to develop this park.
Join our action group to plan and implement improvements to our Library facilities and programming to ensure it continues to meet the needs of our community and is a central part of our community.
we work across the University Departments and with community members to offer a diverse range of activities to keep children and families busy during school holidays.
we are currently developing a platform that will make it easy for community members to identify skills that are available in the community or be able to offer their skill to the community.
we regularly work with the Office of Sustainability and Office of the Arts to run programs to raise awareness on environmental and sustainability topics and to offer more arts and cultural activities. Programs include Bike Week, celebrations of UN International Days, an annual talent show and Artists of KAUST Junior.
