Who for? Everyone in the KAUST community aged 15 and above 

There is still time to register for the Coursera for Campus online University, one of the world’s premier learning platforms. More than 3,800 courses covering many different topics, most of them including certification.

Community Arabic Program (CAP)

When? From July 5 to July 29 

Who for? Everyone in the KAUST community aged 15 and above 


This program is a four-week online course which introduces expat community members to the rich language and culture of Saudi Arabia. Participants will be taught how to communicate in day-to-day Arabic conversations. By the end of the four-week program, students will be able to build relationships with Arabic speakers around them.

Virgin Pulse GO

When? From June 14 to November 30 

Who for? All KAUST employees and residents 16 years and up 

Virgin Pulse GO is the new platform that replaces the Global Corporate Challenge.  Sign up with the app now and get ready for the Destination Challenge: a 9-week team challenge to travel virtually around the world!  The VP GO platform offers a lot more in addition to the challenges.

Role Models & Richer Education Workshops

When? From June 22 to September 4 

Who for? Children aged 5-13 

KAUST has previously partnered with Role Models to run workshops for children from 6 to 15 on the topics of ResilienceCreative Problem Solving, and ‘Brilliant Me and My Mind’. Role Models are currently offering a series of online Life Skills courses for children aged 5 to 13, to help them cope with ‘big emotions’ and to build their resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Role Models also offers workshops for parents and are looking to run some sessions for 3-5-year-olds as well.

WISE 2020 


When? From July 5 to July 29 

Who for?  Resident children in Grade 10 and above

WISE 2020 has gone online.  The Internships are now project-based and the program will offer a mixture of project work, group and individual learning, Get WISEr Café discussions and some other extra-curricular activities.

If your plans for the summer have changed – whilst there are no more Internships/project work available – you can still join in the group and individual learning elements of the program.  If you are interested in learning more, please e-mail

Who for? Children aged 5-16 

Safaa Golf Club announces the start of summer golf classes for children. This is a great opportunity for children to be involved in a new fun outdoor activity!


Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 23 – July 30

  •  5-8 year-olds: 4:30 P.M. – 5:15 P.M.
  •  9-16 year-olds: 5:30 P.M. – 6:15 P.M.

Family Fun Activities at Safaa Golf Club  


When? Everyday

Who for? All KAUST residents

  • Mini Golf – Available every day from 6 A.M. to 10 P.M. (Free for KAUST Residents)
  • Mini Foot Golf – Available every day from 6 A.M. to 10 P.M. (Free for KAUST Residents)
  • Learn to play golf with your family – Special group lesson rate of 120 SAR (Min. 3 persons)
  • Nine Hole Par 3 Course and Foot Golf available on Fridays and Sundays – 6 A.M. to 2 P.M.  (Specific rates apply)

Full adherence to the Keep KAUST Safe guidelines is required.
