This year's parade and picnic was the biggest and best yet! The KAUST School (and Friends) Drum Corps led the way and the circle featured 80 fully captained tables – incredible
cuisine, crafts, displays, dress and generous spirits. Tremendous community performances capped an exuberant long closing set by the KSA visiting band Bassam Labban. To cap it off, one of the Venezuela Co-captains, Sami Villalba, braved the event fully pregnant on the theory that the Circle of Nations karma and effort might result in good things... and they did! An hour after the final clean-up, her water broke and at 1:10 am she gave birth to a healthy, vibrant son! Welcome to KAUST's newest Citizen of the World and congratulations to the Villalba family!
