Daycare celebrates the Universal Children's Day
On November 20th, daycare invited parents and their children to celebrate the Universal Children's Day together.
As many people are unaware of the special date, here is a brief reflection. The Universal Children's Day was established in 1954 and is celebrated on November 20th each year to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children's welfare.
Parents were invited to come to the festive parade of the children and teachers wearing the costumes of their countries. Many children enjoyed this moment and looked fantastic in their outfits. Many parents enjoyed the colorful display of so many different cultures. For the children there were also many different activities to enjoy after the parade: such as puppet show, face painting, water games and show-and-tell.
