Thrift Shop

Community Clubs | Second Chance Thrift Shop

Due to the transitional nature of the KAUST community, often barely-used items are left behind when residents leave. The Second Chance Thrift Shop provides the opportunity for pre-loved items to be purchased at low cost and be reused within our community. Thrift shopping is a responsible method of shopping; is good for the environment as it reduces the production of new items and reduces the rate that used items ends up in landfill; and any money taken at the Thrift Shop goes towards supporting KAUST’s Social Responsibility volunteer programs in Thuwal.

We hope that the Second Chance Thrift Shop will have a positive environmental, social and personal impact in the KAUST community.
